We spent an incredible night listening to 83 MPH winds hit the side of our motorhome. We lived in North Carolina and felt hurricane winds but this was nuts. AND... we were in a tin can! There were times we really felt like the damn thing was going to roll over on us. I got up in the middle of the night and put the slide out parts in. The power went out at 10:00 in the morning and stayed out until 2:30 the next morning. Can't hate the guys for not wanting to go up on a pole in this kind of wind.

When we woke up it was still blowing and it blew all day. This was a view of a golf course that we had out our window. Needless to say we couldn't see the mountains either.

| Looking down the main street of town. Where's the town?? |
The skies cleared a bit later in the day and we went sightseeing. This is a very unique store?, house? storage shed?

| Love the skateboard "dude." |
There is only one grocery store (a little market) in Borrego Springs but there are churches of every denomination available.
 |
| And of course, they are all on Church Lane. |
 |
| These dudes made a zillion trips with all of the debris. |
 |
| The golf course looked like a war zone. |

The storm uprooted this giant Oak tree. Fortunately, it missed the houses.
And when it was all over, the winds calmed down, the sun was out and we all said aaahhhhh.
