This & That April 13, 2013

Practicing the garbage bag toss.
On workdays we hook up our trailer and go hunting for white bags. As you can see, we bagged our limit today.
The park hosted the Rainbow RVers Club rally over the weekend. In case you were wondering, it wasn't Jesse Jackson's Rainbow Coalition. 30 RV's came in and all set up with Rainbow banners, flags and buntings. Another one for the list of "things I ain't never seen before."

All in all, a good group of folks with the best looking selection of pot luck desserts we've ever seen.
The company car in our site for a day off. No "tools" in the back.

As we escort people into the park we see a lot of unique towed (toad) vehicles. Especially here in the desert where there are a zillion acres of desert riding available for bikes, motorcycles, 4 wheelers and Jeeps.

This one brought back memories from the the 60's!!

There is a unique store in town with outdoor landscaping rocks, art and etc stuff.

Inside there is a variety of artsy stuff and whatnots.

Even some blooms on the side of the store.

Fellow camphost Jerry (L) and Dan the Ringleader/Owner of the park(R)
Saturday night we had another band and dance night. The band was a two person setup. A gal from France and a guy from England. They were joined by a group of brass, strings and guitars packed into an Apple computer. It was a fun night with burgers and chicken on the grill.

Happy campers

Holly and Brenda discussing the fine art of line dancing.

Line Dancing to Led Zeppelin??

It was a fun evening under the night sky with a zillion stars. It's nice to be out and about at 9:00 without a jacket. Gotta love the desert nights.
