Looking at Condos and Greasewood Flats

The sun finally returned to the Valley and the temperature went back to the 70's during the day. Still in the high 30's at night but who's complaining? We enjoyed our Valentine's Day and shared dinner at Tom and Red's that evening after we sat by the pool at their house. Something about being able to say "sit by the pool" during February that sounds real nice to me.

We were given a tour of available condos in the area by Diane. Her Realtor skills were very much appreciated. Rachel, Diane, Holly and I checked out several spots.

Some had a view of the surrounding mountains

Some you can purchase furnished

Of course, most have pools

We were invited to join our friends and some of their friends for dinner at Grease Wood Flats out near Pinacle Peak, north of Phoenix. It is a very unique, rustic setting.  Live music, a dance floor, fire pits to start a fire for warmth when the sun went down, and they only served beer and Jaegermeister (sp?).  We danced and even did the polka :-)

You may have noticed there were no pictures of me (Kirt) at the party. The little item below blew out on our water heater and I had to wait for a repair dude to come out at 5:00 so I missed the fun and excitement.  It was Rachel's last nite in town so Holly couldn't NOT go :-)
