When we left Parker we drove through this little town. It's name is Hope. When you are leaving the town there is a sign that reads, "You Are Leaving All Hope Behind."

| The town of Wickenburg, Arizona where Fred Wedge spent his last years. One of the good guys. So in case God has WIFI, I wanted to give a shout out to my old friend. |
We caught up with Marilyn and Monte in Anthem, Arizona. They had just arrived after waking up to 10" of snow in Nevada. The picture doesn't really show just how dirty their rig was but it was covered. You couldn't see out the windows. We stayed a couple of days and enjoyed the opportunity to see them again.

| This cactus was rotting at the base so they had to move to another site in case it falls down. |
| And another beautiful sunset in the desert. |
| Pretty sure this is a cactus wren. (Holly is positive it is!) |
| Nearby is Lake Pleasant just north of Phoenix. This party boat looked like it was getting ready for the season. |
| There were two marinas in the park. It's a huge lake. |
| Just above the lake there are campsites owned by a private park nearby. |
| The views are great overlooking the water. |
| Of course we had to inspect. |
At the end of the day we had another great sundown and then we joined the residents of the RV park for a "jam session." There were 8 or 9 guys playing guitars and harmonicas. Several people joined in and sang. There were about 100 of us in the crowd. It wasn't Led Zeppelin but it was a hoot.
