March 16th - Around the Hood on Boomer Bash Saturday

Each Saturday they have a Boomer Bash with live "entertainment." This week's event was also in honor of St Patrick's Day.  There is a stage by the pool where the bands play sometimes but this was a hot day so they played in the ballroom in the a/c. 

Burgers, chips and all the beer you can drink $4.00.

Some things bloom here in the desert.

A house and an outdoor bar/kitchen.

Some of these places are very big.  Some have two stories with an outdoor deck
on the upper level. 

Amazing how much real grass they have here.  And it must not have
been as cold in Yuma because all the palm trees are green (unlike those
in Tucson that were damaged by the freeze)
