Holly took a class to make these tiny trees displayed on a rock. These women
were all into "miniatures." One gal won awards and was featured in the Miniatures
magazine. This is the front of a book with a miniture setting inside. They did
incredible work.
We could choose any rock we wanted! I chose a rock with lots of turquoise
color on it (which was the copper ore). The trees we made were out of copper wire,
then twisted to look like a tree and spray painted black.
These are blue orchids in the Fry's grocery store. This store had the most
incredible flowers and vegetable arrangements. I couldn't pass up taking pics
of all of it. (I'm never without my trusty camera.)
Master shopper in serious contemplation over a red onion.
The man next to me was sure these were artificial - but NOPE!
